(Outline of Blog)
The research blog is to be used as a reflective journal documenting your ideas and thoughts about the various aspects of the project. This should include a post on each of your technical exercises and more specifically the experimental variation of each of these exercises.
The blog should also be the medium in which you explore ideas around how you place your work (jacket) in context. This may include a survey of tailoring and tailored jackets in contemporary fashion design practices, a historical look at the tailored jacket, investigations into the selected function of your jacket and who might buy and wear your jacket.
Posts should be regular, considered and analytical. The posts should not be about whether or not you like something but more about why something is of particular relevance to your work. Material you include in your blog must be accompanied by your analytical and considered response to that material.
Blogs will be checked and comments/feedback given on a weekly – fortnightly basis and as such there should be a minimum of one post per week.

Welcome!
Welcome to all that read my blog.
This blog is a research tool used whilst undergoing my undergraduate studies in fashion at RMIT.
This blog will focus on the "Tensions" between form and functionality with regards to tailoring.
Enjoy
